Wild Fur A Day

WOW!  Just WOW!  Hard for me to say anything else really. Our group trip to The Wild Center in Tupper Lake, NY was a huge success!  This old Greymuzzle gets emotional still every time I look through the photos that our Furtographer Linda Morrison, and other members of our group took throughout the day on October 6, 2018.

Our turnout was great and the interaction with the public and the Center were fully positive!  Thank you to everyone that attended and made this a truly unforgettable time.

August Event

Our August meet has been almost “dropped” into or hands. Xeno and Relic talked to the owner of The Reading Room yesterday while at the mall and they have a fund-raising event scheduled for Wednesday August 29^th 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and we would be able to have our fursuiters attend the event for the kids to read to / interact with. Being as it is a weekday we realize that it limits us to who can attend but, the Reading Room has set the date not our group, if you are willing to attend it there is time to try and plan for it.

The Reading Room is raffling off over $3500 worth of items that will be won by ONE Ticket! You can drop by the Reading Room to see all of the items they are displayed in the window at the front of the shop and don’t forget to buy your $1 ticket for a chance to win, the drawing will take place on December 15^th. The Raffle is a fund raiser for a charity that as of yet has not been chosen, they are continuing to take business cards for charities that others would like to see have a chance of getting the benefit. If you know of a charity that you would like to see in the running, please drop a card from them by the shop soon.

Near the end of last week the announcement of my new position as an Admin member was made and the deployment of the Fall Meet Questionnaire was made live.

As per the Questionnaire our tentative dates are one of the three Saturdays the 22nd or 27th of September or the 7th of October. We are attempting to keep this at a time of the year that is going to be both colorful and at temperatures conducive to being in fursuits.
